16 September 2017  Singer Gary Valenciano performs Pinoy international hit song “Anak” before delegates to the 38th AIPA General Assembly. Valenciano sang the song in four languages in the event at the  Shangrila Hotel in Makati  hosted by Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez, the incumbent AIPA President. Other notable artists who performed during the opening rites of the event include Sarah Geronimo, Kim Chu, James Reid, and Jaya and the singing sisters, 4th Power. Anne Curtis and Coco Martin also graced the event.
